One may ask, "what exactly has pushed so many ladies into sports betting, which was commonly perceived as a venture for men?"
Laurent Sparrow, a manager at a well-known betting center briefly addressed why many young women suddenly gained an interest in sports betting.
“Somewhere in 2019, without any major statistics, ladies started patronizing sports betting and the reason was the outbreak of COVID 19,this is because a lot of people lost their jobs and needed money to keep themselves. It is rare for you to see a lady at the betting centers but they are virtually active and data shows 70% of our clients are actually females”.
